The Extended Day Program is provided on the premises of St. Catharine School for those children enrolled at St. Catharine School. It provides the following child care:

• Before school care (7 - 8:15 for grades K - 8),
• After school care (3 - 6 p.m. for grades K - 8),
• When need is indicated by enrollment numbers, extended kindergarten programs are available for those students who are either in a.m. or p.m. kindergarten classes and whose parents need child care for either morning or afternoon sessions.

The morning kindergarten Extended Day Program (if numbers support a program) begins at 8:15. The children eat lunch in the cafeteria and are sent to kindergarten at 12:00. The afternoon Extended Day Program begins at 11:15. The students eat lunch in the cafeteria and then are in the Extended Day classroom until dismissal at 3:00.

A variety of activities are available in this program. These included outdoor recess, lunch, story time, rest or quiet time, art, free choice time, and various planned activities.Fees and additional information regarding this program can be obtained by calling the school office.
